Through a strategic alliance and a series of individual contracts, Zurich Insurance Services, Inc. (ZIS), a privately held corporation in Jacksonville, Florida, provides service delivery, builders risk program management, marketing support and other administrative services. The cornerstone of the ZIS/Zurich relationship is the partnership between ZIS and the small business unit of Zurich in North America.

Specializing in long-term, cost efficient solutions that support Zurich's strategic plans, ZIS provides services directly to three Zurich business units and six Zurich Financial Services member companies. As part of these agreements, more than 11,000 distributors in the United States receive one and done service including underwriting, telephone support, Internet technical assistance, policy issuance and billing service, and cooperative advertising. In addition, ZIS provides producer contracting and licensing services for all Zurich in North America business units and their distributors and customer support for all business units utilizing the direct bill system.
